SUPERVISED CONSUMPTION SITE DIRECTORY
SCSs are part of a harm reduction strategy that allows people to consume drugs in a safe, clean place. These sites also provide services such as drug checking to detect adulterants (i.e. fentanyl strips); emergency medical care in case of overdose, cardiac arrest or allergic reaction; basic health services; testing for infectious diseases (HIV, hepatitis C, and STIs); access to sterile drug equipment and safe disposal; and health professionals and support staff.
